Literally only here to post this as vindication for myself, I don’t really use tumblr anymore ever since that Very Well Known User sent their follower base to send me death and rape threats (still get those when I get on to post to my art blog btw, thanks!), but I’m reading a professional paper about certain behaviors in online spaces and;

Hi! My name is Dito, and me and my wife need help!
On March 31st our landlord informed the house that a family member of his would be moving into town and that he planned to give the house to them, as such weβve been given thirty (30) days to move.
This eviction is in no way, shape, or form a result of our actions but strictly those of our landlord deciding that we didnβt need any real advanced notice. On the plus side, I have been saving to move my wife and I out either late summer or early fall. Meaning that I do have some funds put aside.
Due to the timing, however, I did not get the full summer to make the funds needed, and we need to move now. My current funds amount strictly to the first and last monthβs rent on an apartment in the city we plan to move to, for that reason Iβm crowdfunding both for extra rent padding, moving costs such as renting a moving truck, the pet deposit for our lovely little void of a cat Zuzu, and any necessities we may need to replace seeing as we have decided to move out on our own rather than continuing to live with those we had previously been living with, this means potentially replacing furniture, cookware, and getting groceries once the move is complete.
Iβll be working hard to make sure our goals are met and that we arrive safely at our destination. Iβm choosing to see this sudden event not as a tragedy, but as a sign that itβs time for a new start as I and my wife continue into the future together.
The funding goal is high not because we are demanding you give us that much for the initial move per-se, but because any excess funds we can get will be put directly back into making sure we have a little leeway with rent funds as my wife looks for a new job in our new location.

i am once again asking people i know to do actual research on OCD and what it is b/c i saw someone equating POCD to actual predatory shit recently and i think im going to break out of my enclosure . OCD is not about “subconscious desires” it’s about fear. fears, aversions and repulsions, both subconscious and conscious.
OCD forces you to obsess over things that make you anxious, scared, uncomfortable, or disgusted. possibilities (about yourself, your future, your loved ones and their futures, etc) that would give you nightmares if you considered them for too long.
literally the second you start thinking OCD may be about “subconscious desires” you have lost. you made an immediate left turn when you were supposed to make a right and now you’re on a completely different road.
this applies to all forms of OCD by the way, even the most “disgusting”, taboo or “disturbing”. whichever form of OCD you’re thinking may be an exception to this rule, is not an exception. b/c there is none
if you want young queers to want to associate with elder queers then maybe the culture shouldn't be so ridiculous and over the top. I get second hand embarrassment from drag queens and leather daddies and kinksters in puphoods acting like they represent all gays
